Érudit
Érudit is a Canadian research infrastructure that distributes more than 150 digital scientific and cultural journals. A mutual content aggregation agreement makes it possible to jointly promote the collections of Persée and Érudit: the journal titles published by Érudit are integrated into the Persée portal, which in turn makes Érudit journals visible, thus contributing to increaseg the visibility of all these publications and to facilitate researchers’ access to articles.
OpenEdition, CAIRN
Depending on the collection period concerned, collections may be published by Persée, OpenEdition or CAIRN, with different full text access conditions (open or restricted). To guarantee researchers the continuity of consultation of journals whether they use one or another platform, a reciprocal exchange and indexing protocol has been put in place. Each platform indexes the metadata provided by the others and tells its users the platform where the issue number it does not have is available.
Prairial
The Prairial platform supports the open-access dissemination of journals in the humanities and social sciences and provides guidance to editorial teams. It is managed by the Lyon Saint-Étienne Editorial Hub, which brings together Lumière Lyon 2 University, Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University, and the Lyon Saint-Étienne Maison des Sciences de l’Homme (MSH).
At the end of 2020, Prairial and Persée signed a partnership agreement for the enhanced retrospective digitization of print issues from the incubator journals that align with the editorial and scientific policy of the persee.fr portal. This initiative aims to provide researchers, students, and the general public with easier access to the full content of these journals.
For Prairial, the goal is to support the digital transition of incubator journals—from their first issue to the most recent—by integrating the selected journals into a broad, coherent, and structured scientific corpus. For Persée, the partnership contributes to advancing scholarly journals toward open science, while also facilitating the transfer of its expertise to the incubator’s editorial teams.
